MAE ISABEL SALMON Peacefully on Tuesday, July 24, 2001 at the Riverview Health Centre, Mae Isabel Salmon passed away at the age of 78 years. Mae is survived by her sisters, Margaret (Peggy) (John) Yano of Saskatoon, SK, Norah-Ann (Gil) Keenan of Oakville, ON; brother James (Phyllis) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Annie May; and nephew Michael Salmon. Mae was born and educated in East Kildonan. After graduation she went to work for CPR and in 1953 after contracting polio she has been a longtime resident of Riverview Health Centre. Mae will be laid to rest beside her parents at Baldur Cemetery on Friday, July 27 at 1:00 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, July 28 at 1:30 p.m. in the Riverview Health Centre Chapel, 1 Morley Ave. The family wishes to thank all staff and volunteers at the Riverview Health Centre for their ongoing care and for her long time friends that have been so faithful.
